Joe Osterstock is a composer, arranger, and violinist based in Salt Lake City, Utah. A storyteller by nature, narrative and imagery are the heart of Joe’s creative process. His music blends classical, synthesis, and historical and folklore influences to invite audiences to explore the sonic worlds he creates and to inspire new perspectives.

Joe’s works have been premiered by groups such as the Empire Film and Media Ensemble, The Uinta Trio, Utah Valley University Symphony Orchestra, and 4m Percussion, as well as soloists Sam Chandler, and Sohee Bae. As a composer and producer, some of Joe's recent collaborators include MB Gordy, Cecilia Tsan, Alyssa Park, Alin Melik-Adamyan, Nicole Pinnell, Monte Belknap, Michael McQuay, Aaron Ashton, Gavin McMahan, Ian Oliver, Ray (Xudong) Zheng, and Grace Belsie.

Joe holds his B.M. from Utah Valley University in Orem, Utah and his M.M. from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York.
